SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

THE ROLE

To ensure maximum product availability in store is achieved and the effective replenishment of stock by directing their team and other key stakeholders. Direct, support and lead the Supply Chain Team Leaders ensuring they have the right information and knowledge in order ensure maximum in store product availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, direct and support a team of Supply Chain Analysts to deliver the Supply Chain operating plan by:

o Liaise closely with Central Operations to ensure the timely resolution of Store queries ensuring they may be resolved in a timely and effective manner.
o Develop relationships with and influence the Trading team buyers to ensure that promotional forecasts generated by the team are jointly owned and any supplier availability issues resolved.
o Develop relationships with and influence the Trading team buyers to ensure that promotional forecasts generated by the team are jointly owned and any supplier availability issues resolved.
o Develop and coach the Supply Chain team in order to motivate them and maximise their individual potential.
o Review and manage all aspects of the store replenishment system so that data is accurate and relevant enabling the right decisions and appropriate interventions to be made in a timely manner.
o Plan and control the flow of goods through the supply chain ensuring action plans are implemented and risk mitigated.

KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

o Team Leading experience in a Supply Chain function.
o Supply Chain, replenishment experience, or related area.
o Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting.
o Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
o PC skills, with ability to manipulate Excel, algorithm knowledge.
